近期，珀莱雅化妆品股份有限公司湖州分公司（即珀莱雅护肤工厂）正式获得了可持续棕榈油圆桌倡议（RSPO）供应链认证（Mass Balance（MB）模式），这是珀莱雅持续追求可持续发展的重要里程碑。

Recently, Proya Cosmetics Co., Ltd.’s Huzhou branch, known as the Proya Skincare Factory, has recently secured the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Supply Chain Certification under the Mass Balance (MB) model. This achievement represents a key milestone in Proya’s ongoing dedication to sustainable development.

棕榈油是世界上生产、消费和交易最多的植物油，可以作为食品、化妆品等产品的原料或添加剂。同时，棕榈油的大量生产也会导致热带雨林的大量砍伐和土地开垦，造成生态环境破坏。RSPO认证确保了棕榈油、棕榈仁油及其衍生物以可持续的方式生产，而减少对环境的影响。珀莱雅深知，公司的采购行为对环境、社会均有重要影响，我们需要站在全价值链系统的整体高度审视我们的责任，坚持以负责任的方式采购原材料。同时，公司将从管理层面监督和管控整个供应链中RSPO认证棕榈油产品的交易。

Palm oil is the most widely produced, consumed, and traded vegetable oil globally, serving as a key ingredient or additive in food, cosmetics, and other products. However, large-scale palm oil production often leads to extensive deforestation of tropical rainforests and land clearing, causing ecological damage. The RSPO certification guarantees that palm oil, palm kernel oil, and their derivatives are produced in a sustainable way, minimizing environmental impact. Proya is well aware of the significant environmental and social impacts of its procurement practices, the company is dedicated to evaluating its responsibilities throughout the entire value chain while maintaining a strong commitment to the responsible sourcing of raw materials. Additionally, we will closely monitor and manage the trade of RSPO-certified palm oil products throughout the entire supply chain at a management level to ensure compliance with the required standards.

2023年4月，珀莱雅正式加入可持续棕榈油圆桌倡议（RSPO）。同年7月，中国可持续棕榈油论坛暨第七届RSPO中国论坛发布了《中国可持续棕榈油进展—RSPO中国区成员案例集》，珀莱雅的可持续棕榈油进展被收录至案例集成为10个代表案例之一。

In April 2023, Proya officially became a member of the RSPO. By July, the report Progress on Palm Oil Sustainability in China - A Collection of Case Studies from RSPO Members in China was released at the China Sustainable Palm Oil Forum and the 7th RSPO China Forum. Proya’s progress in sustainable palm oil practices was showcased as one of the 10 highlighted case studies.

我国是棕榈油的第二大进口国和第三大消费国，在棕榈油供应链的可持续转型中发挥着重要的作用。公司自身产品生产中没有直接使用棕榈油，但公司使用的原材料中包含棕榈油制成品。基于此，公司积极开展棕榈油制成品管理，优先采购经过RSPO认证的棕榈油衍生品，从而提高产品的可持续属性，减少对环境的影响。2023年，珀莱雅开始在公司内部推动建立可持续棕榈油的追溯体系，调整供应商结构，优先同具有良好ESG管理实践、具备RSPO认证资质的大型供应商合作，从供应源头控制产业链的可持续发展。经过公司的一系列努力，2023年，珀莱雅RSPO认证棕榈油衍生品采购种类占比40.40%，RSPO认证棕榈油采购重量占比15.93%。

As the world’s second-largest importer and third-largest consumer of palm oil, China plays a crucial role in the sustainable transformation of the palm oil supply chain. While Proya does not directly use palm oil in its product manufacturing, some of the raw materials contain palm oil products. As a result, the company proactively manages its palm oil products and prioritizes sourcing RSPO-certified palm oil derivatives to enhance product sustainability and reduce environmental impact. In 2023, Proya began implementing a sustainable palm oil traceability system within its operations. This initiative includes optimizing Proya’s supplier network by prioritizing collaboration with large suppliers known for strong ESG management practices and holding RSPO certification. This shift ensures sustainability at the very source of the supply chain. As a result of these efforts, by 2023, 40.40% of Proya’s purchased palm oil derivatives were RSPO-certified by category, while RSPO-certified palm oil accounted for 15.93% of total purchases by weight.

前不久，珀莱雅董事长侯军呈应邀接受可持续棕榈油圆桌倡议（RSPO）专访，通过视频，侯军呈分享了珀莱雅的可持续棕榈油之路并为RSPO成立二十周年献上祝福。珀莱雅作为RSPO中国成员中的典型代表，与RSPO的合作将进一步推动珀莱雅在可持续棕榈油方面的进展。

Recently, Proya Chairman Hou Junchen participated in an exclusive interview with the RSPO. During the interview, Mr. Hou discussed Proya’s journey towards sustainable palm oil development and extended heartfelt congratulations on the RSPO’s 20th anniversary. As a prominent member of RSPO in China, Proya’s partnership with the organization will further advance its progress in sustainable palm oil initiatives.

近日，公司对《珀莱雅可持续发展战略规划（2022-2025）》中的“RSPO认证棕榈油目标”作了更新调整。经过公司内部评估以及专家意见咨询，针对“我们采购的棕榈油衍生品中使用RSPO认证棕榈油的种类占比达到70%以上，同时在规划期内进一步完善对所采购原料中棕榈油的追溯体系”的目标，公司将“基于采购种类占比”调整为“基于采购重量占比”。调整后的目标更为实际，让公司可以真正实现。不仅如此，成员年度进展报告（Annual Communication of Progress, ACOP）是 RSPO 成员每年都需要提交的报告文件，用于衡量成员在生产和消费 100% 经 RSPO 认证可持续棕榈油和棕榈产品方面的进展，公司也进一步确认了RSPO 的ACOP报告显示需要填写的内容为棕榈油衍生品的采购重量。

Proya has recently updated its Sustainable Development Strategic Plan (2022-2025), refining its goal for RSPO-certified palm oil. Initially, the company aimed for over 70% of its sourced palm oil derivatives to be RSPO-certified and sought to improve palm oil traceability in its supply chain during the planning period. However, after internal review and expert consultations, Proya has shifted to a more realistic goal based on procurement weight rather than product category. This adjustment ensures that Proya can meet its targets. Furthermore, Proya has clarified that in the RSPO’s Annual Communication of Progress (ACOP) report, the weight of palm oil derivatives must be included. These reports are vital for tracking progress toward 100% RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil usage, with members required to submit them annually.
