China Media Group (CMG) has recently released the Yangtze River Delta ESG Action Report. Due to its outstanding performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, Proya (603605.SH) has been included in the list of the 50 ESG Pioneers Among Listed Chinese Companies in the Yangtze River Delta for 2024.
《长三角ESG行动报告》是2024年度“中国ESG发布”的又一主题报告，重点关注长三角企业如何以积极的姿态推动ESG领域的协同创新合作。《报告》选取972家上市公司作为样本空间，从中筛选出279家长三角上市公司作为研究评价对象，通过系统评价遴选出50家在ESG领域表现突出的长三角上市公司，编制形成“中国ESG上市公司长三角先锋50（2024）”榜单。
As one of the key reports for the "2024 China ESG Release" event, the Yangtze River Delta ESG Action Report highlights the proactive initiatives taken by companies in the Yangtze River Delta region to drive innovation and collaboration in ESG areas. For this report, 972 listed companies were initially selected as candidates, from which 279 companies based in the Yangtze River Delta region were chosen for detailed research and evaluation. Following a systematic assessment, 50 companies were recognized for their exemplary ESG performance, forming the list of the 50 ESG Pioneers Among Listed Chinese Companies in the Yangtze River Delta for 2024.

As of today, Proya has fully disclosed its principles and performance in sustainability and ESG governance for four consecutive years in accordance with relevant standards. The company's commitment to sustainability and ESG management has consistently earned recognition from both the public and the capital markets. In 2024, Proya became the first Chinese cosmetics brand to achieve independent third-party carbon data verification and report assurance. In 2023, the company completed the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire for the first time and earned a B rating, surpassing the average C rating for companies in Asia and worldwide. In December 2023, Proya's Wind ESG Rating was upgraded to AA, securing its first top position in the personal care products industry. In 2024, the company received an AA rating from Sino-Securities Index ESG Ratings, ranking first in both the major consumer goods sector within the Sino-Securities' Tier 1 Industry Classification and the personal care products sector within the GICS Tier 3 Industry Classification.
在环境方面，2023年，珀莱雅遵循“节能、降耗、减排、增效”的环境管理方针，将气候变化纳入ESG管理的高实质性议题。公司2023年万元营收温室气体（范围一、范围二）排放量同比下降32.93%，且公司通过节能技改、使用清洁能源、包装减量和使用替换装等一系列的温室气体减排行动，共计减少温室气体排放5571.93吨二氧化碳当量。
On the environmental front, Proya adhered to its management policy of "energy conservation, consumption reduction, emission minimization, and efficiency enhancement" in 2023, identifying climate change as a material issue within its ESG management framework. In 2023, the company reduced its GHG emissions per RMB 10,000 of revenue (Scope 1 and Scope 2) by 32.93% year-on-year. Moreover, by implementing GHG reduction measures, such as upgrading energy-saving technologies, using clean energy, reducing packaging materials, and opting for refillable packaging, Proya cut its total CO2equivalent emissions by 5,571.93 tons.
在社会责任方面，珀莱雅重点关注“性别平等”“心理健康”“青春与成长”“爱与亲密关系”四大重点社会生活议题，凭借品牌影响力，发出倡议，付诸行动。2023年，珀莱雅共计投入866.12万元用于社会公益共建平等多元的社会，并成立浙江珀莱雅公益基金会。
Regarding social responsibility, Proya focuses on four key social issues: gender equality, mental health, youth and growth, and love and caring.
